Patrick, N S
A native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, N S Patrick earned a BA in business administration at Albion College. After graduation, he served as a U. S. Navy officer during the Cuban Missile Crisis at Guantanamo Bay and patrolled the coastline off Viet Nam as Executive Officer on board a minesweeper. The result of a challenge by a close friend produced his first novel, The Mysteries of Jack the Ripper. In the second novel, The Murder of Wednesday’s Children, protagonists Ione Wallace and Archer Reed are introduced, and assisted by an unconventional detective, solve four murders. Their sleuthing continues in the third novel, Fool’s Parsley, number two in The Brownstone Murders series. Author Patrick resides in Kenner, Louisiana with his rescue greyhound, Tango.
