As usual, Ms. Bodoin's writing is clever and intriguing. This is a book that you can't put down—I'll admit freely that I read it all in one sitting! The characters (Jennet, Winter, Halley, Crane, Lucie, etc.) are as engrossing and witty as ever. Every word of A Shortcut Through The Shadows is a joy to read. Ms. Bodoin is an absolute menace to Saturday afternoons—I can't get a bit of work done with a Bodoin book tempting me to cuddle up on the couch with a cup of coffee and the latest enthralling episode of Jennet and her adorable dogs. If you're a Foxglove Corners fan or just considering visiting the town, you'll find A Shortcut Through The Shadows impossible to put down. Good work, Ms. Bodoin—I look forward to Jennet's further adventures.
