Finna Tarellie, on Halloween night, was on her way home from an art reception given in her honor. She is drawn to take Old Coast Road, and is pulled into another dimension as she travels down the ominous thoroughfare. Finna tries to avoid hitting the beautiful woman standing in the center of the road and loses control of the car.
Dr. Brice Langhe lost his wife, Elyse, one year ago on Old Coast Road. While paying homage to Elyse’s memory, Brice witnesses a car careening down the embankment. He runs to Finna’s aide, and becomes attracted to his new patient, who strongly resembles his wife.
