The excitement surrounding the making of a movie based on Lucy Hazen’s book, Devilwish, turns to horror when a landscaper unearths a human skeleton in the backyard of the house chosen as a setting. Inside the vacant house, Jennet hears the incessant crying of an invisible dog. As she searches for clues to the phenomenon, one tragedy follows another until a second murder takes place in the house’s backyard, bringing Jennet to the attention of a secret murderer.
